Charley Brackett Wins National Whitewater Canoe Championship

July 2009 - Charley Brackett of Fitzwilliam won the solo sprint and the solo down river events in the Whitewater Open Canoe National Championship held recently in Dead River, ME.

Brackett (shown during one of the races) and who beat all age groups in both races, was sponsored by Summers' Backcountry Outfitters, located across from the Colony Mill Marketplace on West Street in Keene.
